Scib Paints launched Royale and Weathercoat with Teflon®
Scib Paints, signed an agreement with DuPont Titanium Technologies for use of the Teflon® brand in a new series of products under the Royale brand that include Teflon® surface protector technology bringing consumers in Egypt high quality paints that clean up with a simple wipe.
DuPont Titanium Technologies is part of Chemours, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DuPont, which is on track to be separated from DuPont in mid-2Q15.
This will create a new publicly traded company that is a global leader in chemicals and extends Titanium Technologies 80+ years of industry innovation and experience in paints and coatings.

Teflon® trademark provides assurance that paints like Royale® and Weathercoat® are of the highest quality and performance.

Scib Royale with Teflon® surface protector for beautiful walls that last Royale is a luxury water based emulsion made of 100% pure acrylic.
It is one of the most technologically advanced interior emulsions, with a lot of properties and benefits.
“Adding Teflon® surface protector to it makes your beautiful walls remain beautiful by increasing its stain resistance abilities as well as washability in addition to Royale being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, which helps prevent diseases caused by bacteria and fungus,” said Mireille Ishak, Group Brand Manager for Scib Paints.
Royale is also environmentally friendly.
It meets GS-11 and European Standards for VOC. It is also lead-free and almost odorless, giving you and your family a healthy environment and keeping your children safe.
Royale also provides Superior Hiding for underlying surface, decreasing the number of coats needed to complete a paint job, in addition, its high spreading rate that reaches 30% more than any other emulsion make it cost efficient.
Also, Scib Paints also launched its shade card made of 1800 colours, adding 480 new colour to the current shade card.
Weathercoat Exterior paints with Teflon® surface protector : extreme protection
The Weathercoat range of products from Scib Paints is a selection of luxury exterior finishes that stand for total exterior protection.
The range covers everything a consumer may need for premium exterior luxury smooth and texture finishes. All Weathercoat products are formulated with advanced UV resistant pigments.
“Adding Teflon® surface protector to Weathercoat Dust Guard and Weathercoat Flex improves dust pick up resistance as well as resistance to various severe weather conditions,” said engineer Mahmoud Shahat, Group Brand Manager for Scib Paints.
Weathercoat Flex is flexible with crack bridging properties, flexing with extremes temperature keeping your walls crack free. It is also known for its ability to protect walls and prevent colour fading.
Weathercoat range offers anti-carbonation protection, a non-porous film which prevents Carbon Dioxide from penetrating the walls and causing corrosion.
Scib Paints also launched a new shade card for exterior paints with 450 colours that are ideal to resist external weather conditions.
